Lamisil Cream For Athlete’s Foot

Lamisil Cream is used for the treatment of athlete’s foot (tinea) between the toes. It works by stopping the growth of the fungi, Candida, and the Candida complex which is the main cause of athlete’s foot. Lamisil Cream is applied twice a day, once applied to the skin and once daily for 3 to 4 days.

It is important to remember that the use of Lamisil Cream during the early stages of athlete’s foot may lead to the growth of Candida, which may eventually become resistant to antibiotics. If you notice any symptoms of a new infection after using Lamisil Cream, stop using it immediately and contact your doctor. This may help prevent the infection from returning.

The recommended dosage of Lamisil Cream for athlete’s foot is 1 gram applied twice a day for 3 to 4 days. If your doctor decides to prescribe this medicine twice a day for 3 to 4 days, your dose may need to be reduced to 1 gram to prevent Candida from becoming resistant to antibiotics.
